About Beth Lambert

Beth is a former healthcare consultant and teacher.

As a consultant, she worked with pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic and other health care companies to evaluate industry trends.

She is the author of A Compromised Generation: The Epidemic of Chronic Illness in America’s Children.

She is also a co-author of Epidemic Answers’ Brain Under Attack: A Resource for Parents and Caregivers of Children with PANS, PANDAS, and Autoimmune Encephalitis.

In 2009, Beth founded Epidemic Answers and currently serves as Executive Director.

She is also the Executive Director of Epidemic Answers’ Documenting Hope Project, a multi-year research and media initiative to scientifically demonstrate that children can get better from chronic conditions including autism, ADHD, allergies, asthma, autoimmune disease and many more conditions currently believed to be lifelong.

Beth attended Oxford University and graduated from Williams College and holds a Masters Degree in American Studies from Fairfield University.

She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society.

Beth is also the mother of three young children.

Patricia Lemer MEd LPCPatricia S. Lemer is a licensed professional counselor, holding a Masters of Education in counseling and learning disabilities from Boston College and a Masters in Business from Johns Hopkins University.

She practiced as an educational diagnostician for over 40 years.

She was a co-founder and served as Executive Director of the international non-profit organization Developmental Delay Resources (DDR).

After DDR merged with Epidemic Answers, she became Chairman of the Board.

She is the author of Outsmarting Autism, Updated and Expanded: Build Healthy Foundations for Communication, Socialization, and Behavior at All Ages.

Lemer writes continually for her blog “After the Diagnosis, Then What?” about combining a biomedical approach to autism with sensory and movement-based therapies.
