JENNIFER BOYD, PA serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Epidemic Answers. Ms. Boyd graduated Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious PA program at LIU/Brooklyn Hospital after a career in international business development and an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University. Ms. Boyd has multiple post-graduate certifications and has completed professional coursework in Functional Medicine, Biological Medicine, Darkfield Microscopy, Biological Terrain Analysis, Lyme Literacy, and Organic Land Management. She has also earned her Master designation as a Reiki professional. Jennifer is the owner of Boyd Wellness, a holistic practice for patients engaged in the serious pursuit of wellness. She is a sought after speaker and guest of national radio programs and contributor to various on-line magazines.
BETH LAMBERT is a former healthcare consultant and teacher. As a consultant, she worked with pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic and other health care companies to evaluate industry trends. She is the author of A Compromised Generation: The Epidemic of Chronic Illness in America’s Children (Sentient Publications, 2010). In 2009, Beth founded Epidemic Answers and currently serves as Executive Director. Beth attended Oxford University and graduated from Williams College and holds a Masters Degree in American Studies from Fairfield University. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society. Beth is also the mother of three young children.
LAUREN LEE STONE, PHD, MS, HHP is a nutritionist and holistic health practitioner who uses BioEnergetic Medicine as a healing modality. Lauren came to BioEnergetic Medicine in the search to heal her own children, and chose to make it her career after experiencing its success first hand. In addition to a B.A. from Yale University and a PhD from Cornell University, Lauren has a Masters in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. She also holds an advanced certificate in BioSET, Quantum Reflex Analysis, and is a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner.
JANINE BURNHAM RUTH is a holistic homeschooling mom of two boys. Janine’s professional training includes Neurodevelopment, Sound Based Therapy, Reiki, Meridian Energy Balancing through TKM and Jin Shin Jyutsu, Autonomic Response Testing to identify energy blockages, their causes, and what will relieve them, Retained Neonatal Reflex Integration, and Homeopathy. ROBIN MUMFORD is a London University Special Chemist whose early career was with Honeywell working with Fibers and Asset Management. Robin also founded the Mumford Institute in 1998, which deals with the effect of environmental lighting on learning and visual efficiency. He served as a of Director of Developmental Delay Resources and a Director of Central Park Historical Field Trips Inc., as well as Past Director of National Association for The Visually Handicapped.
TERESA BADILLO received her Honors Bachelor degree from the University of Toronto in 1977. In the 1980s she worked overseas in Rome, Italy at the Japanese Embassy in the office of the United Nations (FAO) as a speech writer. She also began her long journey in alternative healing while living in Rome. After moving to New York and while raising her family of seven children, Teresa embarked on a mission to find alternative non-invasive biomedical, therapeutic, sensory and educational solutions for autism after the diagnosis of her son in the early 90s. She won a court case in 1995 against the Rockland County School District in New York to enable ARC Prime Time for Kids to be the first school using Applied Behavioral Analysis teaching method for autism that was paid for by the Rockland County School District. The following year she was instrumental in getting the New York Minister of Education to approve an extension of the ARC license from 5 to 21 years. She has worked over the years in a number of alternative medical practices with doctors and practitioners organizing various biomedical intervention options for children with autism. Since the mid 90s, Teresa has served on several Boards: Foundation for Children with Developmental Disabilities (FCDD); The Autoimmunity Project (TAAP), Developmental Delayed Resources (DDR) and currently Epidemic Answers (EA). She continues to consult and advise parents on all different areas of autism especially nutritional protocols. KRISTA ROSEN, BS is an Energy Medicine Practitioner who uses Reiki (Master level), Accunect, and Homeopathy in her practice. She specializes in parents and children with chronic illnesses, including chronic Lyme disease and other infections. Krista supports parents all over the world online and with phone consults, providing guidance and emotional support. Krista is also a parent liason for the Oregon Lyme Disease Network in Portland. Krista is a parent of a 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy in remission from chronic health issues. She is also in remission from multiple health problems including chronic Lyme disease. Krista holds a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Economics from California State University, Northridge. Krista worked in media and the corporate world. Later, she took pre-med classes in order to become a Physical Therapist and worked in a clinic. Once she realized her first child had major health problems, she left school and started a new chapter in life discovering holistic medicine. Because of her hands-on experience with various therapies, she also worked as a preschool teacher while studying, attending conferences, and recovering her children.
KATHERINE SULLIVAN, MS, CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in the childhood populations of children with autism, deafness, and/or hearing loss. She earned her bachelors of art in Speech and Hearing Sciences from George Washington University and her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Gallaudet University. She spent her first professional years providing Aural Habilitation to children and infants newly implanted with cochlear devices as well as providing Aural Rehabilitation to children using hearing aids. Katherine ran her own private practice on Capitol Hill, Washington, DC providing speech therapy and reading remediation to school aged children in parochial schools. Katherine has three children. Her first and third children has significant health and developmental problems which prompted her to research and seek treatment from Functional Medicine physicians and with the assitance of Health Coaches implemented a new plan of eating and positive lifestyle changes. Both children have covered from their illnesses and Katherine is determined to spread the word to other mothers. Katherine is also certified in PROMPT for oral motor placement, the Hanen Centre Programs for autsim, Sarah Rosenfeld-Johnson program for oral placement therapy, Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes for developing reading and reading comprehension skills.
JOHN E. BOYD restores and grows both high potential in under-performing businesses, focusing on strategic, operational, and governance guidance. In addition to Epidemic Answers, John is a board member of the National Association of Corporate Directors NJ. Over the past 20 years, he has served on multiple boards, private and public. Some of John’s leadership roles have included CKX where he led American Idol, Universal Music, and Google in development of an e-commerce platform and venture. In EUR Systems he served as Chairman and CEO of business process outsourcing provider to telecom industry. John’s role at Con Edison Solutions was President and CEO where he launched and developed new competitive energy business. At AT&T he served in leadership roles in the areas of Local Market Entry, Consumer Products – Strategic Marketing, Computer Systems International, and National Distribution. He serves on the Advisory Board Chair on the board of Pace University Business School. He also serves as chair of the Telecom Industry Association.
RACHEL PALETSKY ASH has been the CEO of Pure Essentials, LLC, a nutraceutical company since 2016. She is also the host of “The All and Tired of Being Sick and Tired” Sundays on WOR710am. Prior, she was the Creative Director for the Ash Center for Comprehensive Medicine, an integrative medical center in Manhattan as well as the Founder of wellNEST, a center for healthy living in the Hamptons. Rachel is co-founder and a board member of Mama Glow, a holistic maternal lifestyle company. She has been involved in philanthropic efforts including hosting fundraisers, events for organizations including Healthy Child, Healthy World, and Environmental Working Group. She currently resides in New York City and spends time in the Hamptons, and helping grow her family farm in South Farms, Connecticut which is now the largest agri-tourism center in the state.
MICHAEL PHELAN began his work life as a CPA and spent the majority of his career as a financial and regulatory professional in the telecommunications industry. His career at the Southern New England Telephone Company (SNET), which upon acquisition became SBC and later AT&T, began as a Tax Accountant. He moved quickly to ever increasing leadership roles including the President of a number of corporate subsidiaries and the Vice President of Regulatory and Public Policy. He negotiated the legislation that safely moved the company from a public utility monopoly to a fully competitive business and then guided that legislation through the implementing regulatory process. He reorganized and operated the wholesale market and sales side of the new competitive business. He was later responsible for formulating, articulating and directing all regulatory legislative and community policies and positions presented to government authorities within the State of Connecticut. Mike served on the Board of a number of the corporation’s subsidiaries as well as on the Board of such organizations as Amistad America, VSRP Inc., the New Haven Chamber of Commerce, the Hartford Alliance and others. He has held both elected and appointed positions in his community and continues to be active in fund raising for a number of charitable organizations.
