Additional Information: Dr. Heather has worked in integrative clinics across the country, from The Whitaker Wellness Institute in California to the Center for Integrative Medicine in New Hampshire. She recently helped establish the American Center for Bioregulatory Medicine and Dentistry in Providence, Rhode Island. Working along side a broad array of integrative providers, including chiropractic doctors, holistic nurses, acupuncturists, naturopathic doctors, and nutritionists has given her a better understanding of the many modalities that work together to bring healing and hope.
Dr. Heather integrates modern tools and techniques with wise traditional medical principles from around the world, such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She supports practices that nourish the body and lower its burden or stressors. Her work reflects the dictum primum non nocer (first do no harm). As co-creator and co-teacher of Foundations in Complementary Health and Wellness she has introduced countless college students to these concepts for over a decade. She expects her patients and students to pursue self-knowledge and self-care too.
